Shel Neufeld, photographer, is also an accomplished musician. Shel composes music rich with feeling and emotion. His years of formal training in voice and piano have proved a solid basis to grow creatively with the acoustic guitar. His songs such as "Comfort in the Trees", "Soaking Rain", "Spiders Fighting" and "Going in Circles" focus on the beauty seen in nature, people, communities and culture.

Don Kerr, who has recorded and played with artists such as The Rheostatics, Bob Wiseman, Bob Snider, and Ron Sexsmith, joined Shel on his latest release, Call of the Wild, sharing production duties along with providing his exciting percussion and cello accompaniment.

In addition to headlining many shows, Shel has opened for such acts as The Skydiggers, Sue Medley, The Irish Descendants, David Essig, Don Ross, and Sara Craig.
